On June 11th, the Engineering Society of York once again held its annual scholarship celebration at Sovereign Bank Stadium in conjunction with Engineering Night at the Revs. A banquet was held in the Monarch Room with a check presentation ceremony taking place on the field as part of the pre-game festivities.

Our March meeting took place with a tour of the Yorktowne Hotel. Built in 1925 in the Renaissance Revival style, the 11-story Yorktowne Hotel was designed and constructed to be the cornerstone of hospitality in downtown York during a time of significant growth for the city. Kinsley’s Steel Division specializes in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection, and retrofit of existing structural members for clients across the mid-Atlantic region.
