The February meeting was held jointly with PSPE Lincoln Chapter and took place Graham Packaging Company, L.P., a producer of containers for foods, beverages, personal care, household, and automotive lubricants. The meeting concluded with dinner at Mexitaly. Many thanks to Graham Packaging for the presentation and tour!

The annual ESOY Oyster Feed took place on January 11th. Many thanks to the York Water Company for hosting the event at their Employee Center at Lake Redman.

Our November meeting took place at Weldon Solutions, where we learned about the robots and grinders they engineer and manufacture. Many thanks to Travis Gentzler and Charles Gales for the fantastic presentation, tour, and demos. Our meeting concluded with dinner at Chili’s.

Many thanks to Precision Custom Components for providing a tour of their facility and to the York Chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers for coordinating our first ever joint event!

Many thanks to UPMC Pinnacle Memorial hospital for providing a tour of their new central utilities plant. Our September meeting concluded with dinner at White Rose.

The west course at Briarwood Golf Club provided an enjoyable new venue. Many thanks to all who were part of this ESOY tradition!

Our March meeting was a tour of RH Magnesita,including a visit to the quarry. Despite a rainy March day, the event was very well-attended. Dinner followed at White Rose Bar and Grille.

Thanks to York College for hosting the February joint ESOY/PSPE meeting at the Wilman Center. York College students made an excellent presentation on the making of a radio telescope. A buffet dinner followed.
